Lead Youth Enterprise Officer
Mark joined YRP in March 2019 with a role to support young people involved with An Enterprising Future project. Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund People and Place. Where people and communities are working together and using their strengths to make positive impacts on the things that matter to them the most. This project works with young people from Ynysybwl, Glyncoch and some of the surrounding areas.
Utilising an asset based and person-centred approach and engage with young people through facilitating enterprise activities informed by the interests of the young people. These enterprise activities form part of youth provision and other workshops, events, social enterprise visits and community activities. The project started 12 months ago and Enterprising Futures and is seeing some great community development and the staff are currently supporting local young people’s enterprises.
